A West Coast soft-shell clam.
A member of the gourd family, this fruit is usually round or oblong shaped and comes in two main types - muskmelons (e.g. honeydew, cantaloupe, casaba melon, etc.) and watermelons.
It's not a cheese, but a sausage made of the flesh from the head (may include the tongue) of a calf or pig (sometimes a sheep or cow). It's seasoned with spices and combined with a gelatinous meat broth that holds it together in a meat jelly form. It's usually served cold or at room temperature and thinly sliced.
A pungent cheese with a distinctive flavor and blueish green veins that comes from molds that were injected into the cheese.
